BIOGAS ENERGY POTENTIAL OF FOOD WASTE

Abstract

The article discusses the issue of the possibility and efficiency of using food waste as a raw material for biogas production.
The results of studies of the content of dry and organic dry matter in waste from the dairy and brewing industry are presented. The methodology, instrumentation and results of determining the specific yield of methane during anaerobic biofermentation of the food waste under consideration are described.
