Requirements for a plant recognition system for precision herbicide application in autonomous driving conditions
Abstract
The paper addresses the problem of developing requirements for a plant recognition system intended for precision herbicide application under conditions of autonomous operation of a mobile robotic platform. The operational features of the recognition system as part of an autonomous robotic complex are analyzed, including requirements for processing speed, energy consumption, and integration with the control system. A set of functional, hardware, software, and integration requirements are formulated to ensure autonomous operation in field conditions. The obtained results can be used for the analysis of existing analogues and for the design of precision plant protection application systems.
